The Construction Industry Advisors identity was created and the dba entity formed in 2009 by its founder, W. Scott Tidemann, as a way to offer and provide his services to the Construction Industry in the areas of:

• Construction Claims and Disputes
• Construction Management
• Expert Analysis, Report Development, and Testimony

W. Scott Tidemann has 40 years of experience in construction contracting, and for the last 24 of those years has specialized in construction claims and disputes avoidance and resolution, and expert witness services. Mr. Tidemann has worked with owners, contractors, subcontractors, and legal counsel throughout the United States providing assistance to individuals and companies in every facet and aspect of the construction industry, including contract formation and administration; project control; loss control; risk mitigation; project/program management; change order management; cost analysis; default termination analysis, justification, and costs/damages quantification; convenience termination costs analysis and costs/damages quantification; litigation support; and expert witnessing.

In his early years in the industry, Mr. Tidemann progressed through the ranks of field labor and the project management team, and has had hands-on performance and oversight responsibility of various craft/trade activities. He performed duties typical of supervisory and project management positions on large and small industrial, commercial, and residential projects.

As primarily a one person operation and being the person ultimately responsible, Mr. Tidemann consistently provides individuals and companies with very personalized services which are always customized to fit a specific need or multiple needs of the client involved in a construction project, or embroiled in a construction dispute, claim, or litigation matter.
